The Smithville Sniper

Featured Student-Athlete: Khirei Standifer

Khirei Standifer is a missile under the radar that is very precise and deadly. Standifer is a 5'11 120 lbs Point Guard representing the class of '21 at Smithville High School in Mississippi. Khirei Standifer; like K. Holiday, is also a New Chapel, MS native. Khirei is the son of Patrick and Natural Standifer. Standifer is an all-around Point Guard, controlling the floor, moving the ball, orchestrating plays, along with a deadly pull-up shot. He is also a very sound defender with his long arms and quick reflexes. He is currently averaging a very valuable 20.6 points, 5.1 assists, and 4.7 steals. Much like a sniper, for the most part, Standifer has been under the radar. But he is having an amazing senior year this year, hitting the 1000 career points milestone along with Divison 1-2A Player of the Year. Standifer excels in the classroom as well, earning a 3.0 GPA, on the National Honor Society, and Honor Roll. In summary, Khirei Standifer is a very solid sharpshooting, a defensive point guard that would be a very valuable addition to any university or institute pursuing him.

A question to K. Standifer: What has been your motivation this year?

"My motivation is trying to get a ring for my team and trying to play at the next level." -Khirei Standifer
